Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club will host the 6th annual Dunes Pink Classic, a women’s golf tournament benefiting The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition on Monday June 4 with a shotgun start a 9:30 a.m.
The tournament, sponsored by the Carl M. Freeman Foundation, will be in a scramble format with 4-person teams.
The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition began in 1991 and became a nonprofit organization in 1997. which has raised awareness of breast health issues in Delaware through outreach, education and support to help facilitate early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Last year, over $50,000 was raised to support the DBCC
The day begins at 7:30 with the decorating of the carts with ribbons and bows and registration to pick up goodie bags, purchase the super bundles and the grab-and-go-breakfast.
The “Kamikaze” putting contest will take place at 8:30 before the welcoming comments commence at 9. Lunch will be served at 2 p.m. with awards and prizes given, and course contests taking place.
Entry fee is $100 per person, which covers golf, cart, prizes, goodie bag, grab-and-go breakfast, awards and lunch.

Friday, the Dunes room in DiFebos will host a gathering including free giveawats, silent and live auctions, raffles, bidding for special caddie packages and cash bar.
